Light a Way is a 'clicker' game where you play a young girl who, with the help of the forest spirits, has to return light to the world. To do so, you have to face off against tons of enemies, but instead of using violence to take them out, the young heroine and her friends use the power of light to save them.

The gameplay in Light a Way is similar to other games of the genre. That means you have to tap the screen nonstop in order to make the forest spirits illuminate the enemies on the screen and free them from darkness. Once they are free, you'll get light crystals, which you can use to level up the young protagonist and unlock new special abilities.

At first the main character is all alone, but as you advance in the game and defeat the forces of darkness, you can add many more forest spirits to your side. That way, little by little, you can return light to all corners of the globe.

Light a Way is a beautiful clicker, with great graphics and fun non-violent gameplay. Of course, there are lots of enemies blocking your path, but instead of killing them you'll do the exact opposite: save them.

It's hard to find a person nowadays who hasn't tried an idle clicker before. What started out as a joke by the great Ian Bogost, has become one of the most popular genres on mobile devices. This genre tends to be built on two main pillars: 1) tap the screen to continue progressing and 2) invest in improvements to make the game play "on its own." Half-way between a mindless experience and constant obsessive touching of the screen, the idle clicker genre offers a wide variety of titles that cover almost the entire spectrum of well-known games. We've selected a variety of attention-worthy works in this list of the best idle clickers on Android.

50 free Android games featuring female protagonists

The world of videogames is packed full of stories featuring men. It's a fact that this has been going on for decades but fortunately, little by little, things have finally begun to change, mature, and evolve. We need more women being featured in video games (and programming, illustrating, and production, too). This is why we've put together a list of 50 games featuring female characters. Who knows, maybe next year we can make a list of 100 games. And with any luck, this type of list won't even be necessary in a few years.
